inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed
mouth with outlined lips,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,French kid gusset-
jointed poupee body with stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
Simonne,Passage Delorme...Rue de Rivoli (body stamp). Comments: the poupee was
commissioned by the luxury Parisian doll shop of Simonne and presented in an exclusive
ensemble prepared in their workshops,circa 1870. Value Points: very beautiful doll with brilliant
eyes,finest bisque,sturdy marked body,exquisite original costume with matching hooded
cap,undergarments,leather boots.
