socket,amber-brown glass paperweight inset eyes,black eyeliner,painted black curly lashes and
brush-stroked black brows,strongly-shaped nose,open mouth with full coral-shaped lips,black
mohair wig over cork pate,French brown composition and wooden fully-jointed body with
straight wrists,ball-socket at upper torso to accommodate to flat-cut neck socket. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1885. Value Points: very rare model with
superb portraiture,finest bisque and painting; the head,originally designed for automaton use,is
particularly handsome in this example,wearing fine red velvet coat and cap,trousers,black leather
shoes with brown silk rosettes
