8" (20 cm.) Solid-domed paper mache head,black enamel inset eyes,painted features,closed
mouth,on paper mache chest plate,and having bellow-crier muslin torso and muslin upper arms
and legs,paper mache lower torso,hands and feet,and wooden lower arms and legs. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1855. Value Points: very dear miniature model of
the loosely-limbed child,inspired by the Japanese Ichimatsu play doll,along with its original
costume.
