Description
16" (46 cm.) Vinyl socket head,hard plastic adult-lady shaped torso and legs with jointing at
hips,knees and ankles,rigid vinyl arms with shoulder and elbow jointing,sleep eyes,brunette
hair with waved bangs and luxurious flip curls. Costume: white sheer nylon gown with lace
bodice and cap sleeves,five tiers of ruffled lace on the skirt,ivory sash and bow,frou-frou
taffeta petticoat,panties,stockings,silver sling heels,coronet of white roses with tulle chapel
length veil,lavish bouquet of flowers,pearl necklace and earrings,rhinestone ring. Her costume
is tagged Elise and she has her original wrist booklet and original box labeled Elise 1740.
Excellent unplayed with condition,beautifully preserved lavish costume. Alexander,1964,the
doll appeared in the the Alexander catalog of that year with the notation "everybody loves a
bride and who could help loving this doll".
