21" (53 cm.) Vinyl socket head,adult modeled body,sleep eyes,blonde hair with arranged curls at the nape. Costume: pink satin gown with vertical bands of embroidered silk flowers,black velvet short jacket with beading,pink taffeta frou-frou petticoat,panties,stockings,pink sling heels,black velvet bonnet with rose satin streamers and silk roses,"diamond" ring. The costume is tagged Godey,the doll has her original wrist booklet and is preserved in her original box labeled Godey 2161. Near mint condition. Alexander,the doll appeared in the 1971 catalog which,that year,offered only four models from the portrait series; few examples were made.
