21" (53 cm.) Vinyl socket head with unique modeling used for this 1966 portrait series only,hard
plastic adult-lady shaped torso with unique swivel waist,jointing at hips,legs uniquely shaped in
model-like pose,sleep eyes,blonde rooted hair in very elaborate coiffure with wispy bangs and
decorative flowers. Costume: blue taffeta gown in classic style with narrow pleats at the front
edged by borders of lace,taffeta frou-frou petticoat,panties,stockings,satin shoes,cameo
necklace,large "diamond" ring. The costume is labeled Alexander,and the doll has her original
wrist booklet and is presented in original box labeled Melanie 2050. Near mint condition,pristine
costume and coiffure,very beautiful complexion. Alexander,1966,the model was presented for
one year only.
