Description
9 1/2" (24 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, single-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, accent line between the lips, brunette mohair wig in long braids, peg-jointing at shoulders and hips, painted mid-thigh white stockings and burgundy shoes with little ankle bows. Condition: generally excellent, tiny flake at back torso neck rim. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1880. Value Points: rare large size of the very beautiful all-bisque with uniquely-painted shoes, beautiful burgundy silk costume, undergarments.
