17" (43 cm.) Hard plastic socket head,hard plastic lady-shaped body and legs with jointing at hips,knees and ankles,vinyl arms with jointed elbows,blue sleep eyes,auburn hair with soft curly bangs,scallop-waved hair away from face into pageboy roll at the nape,Costume: pale pink tulle gown with billowing pleated skirt,wide pouf sleeves with lace frills that are repeated at the bodice,pink silk-like sash that forms into a large bow at the back,pink organdy underskirt,pink taffeta petticoat and panties,stockings,pink sling heels,coronet of pink-tipped flowers and leaves with full-length pink tulle veil,faux-diamond earrings and solitaire ring. The costume is labeled Elise,Madame Alexander,and she has her original paper wrist label. Near mint condition with exquisite complexion and blush,superbly preserved coiffure and costume. Alexander,the model #1835,appeared in the Alexander catalog of 1959,shown here in very rare pink color variation.
