17" (43 cm.) Hard plastic socket head,hard plastic torso with adult-lady shape and legs with
jointing at hips,knees and ankles,vinyl arms with elbow joints,sleep eyes,dark brunette hair
with curly bangs and a gathered cluster of curls at her nape. Costume: rose taffeta gown with
lace frills at the bodice,double ruffles at the skirt hem,black velvet ribbons and bows,white
taffeta and tulle petticoat,panties,stockings,black sling heels,three-diamond
earrings,cameo,solitaire,taffeta reticule with black lace and a splendid white woven bonnet
decorated with a multitude of colorful flowers. The costume is labeled Elise,Madame
Alexander,and she has her original wrist booklet and box labeled Renoir Elise 1765. Near mint
condition,gorgeous complexion and coiffure,perfect costume with crisp,fresh colors and
fabrics. Alexander,model 1765,the doll appeared in the 1963 catalog described as "looking
exactly like a Renoir painting"
