Description
20" (51 cm.) Hard plastic socket head,hard plastic adult lady-shaped torso and legs with hip
and knee jointing,vinyl arms with elbow jointing,blue/green sleep eyes,ash-blonde hair in very
elaborate coiffure. Costume: "holly-berry red taffeta cut skillfully with great wide skirt
sweeping to the floor...and a sheer front of tulle stole with irridescent dots" (as described in
Alexander catalog of 1958),white taffeta petticoat,panties,stockings,silver sling heels,pearl
drop earrings,double-strand pearl necklace,faux-diamond ring and rhinestone waist brooch.
The costume is labeled Cissy,Madame Alexander,she has her original wrist booklet and
original box labeled #2285. Neat mint condition,the exceptional coiffure retains its pure
original condition,beautiful complexion and vibrant costume colors. Alexander,model
#2285,1958,the doll was described in that year's catalog as The Lady in Red.
