12" (30 cm.) Hard plastic socket head,jointing at shoulders and hips,sleep eyes,blonde hair in
side-part and short boyish fashion. Costume: aqua cotton gabardine suit with tiny pearl
buttons,white Peter Pan collar,striped knit stockings,tan suede like shoes,straw bowler with black
streamer. The costume is labeled Madame Alexander and the doll has its original wrist booklet
and is preserved in its original box labeled 1240. Near mint,beautifully preserved
complexion,coiffure and costume. Alexander,model 1240,1962,the doll was created as a
companion doll for Katie for the 100th anniversary of FAO Schwartz; the box has two original
FAO Schwartz labels including silver bell label.
