17" (43 cm.) Pink tinted porcelain shoulderhead with plump rounded face, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted delicate all-around lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pale lips and softly blushed cheeks, auburn fleeced lambswool wig over cork pate, French kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, porcelain arms. Condition: generally excellent, reglue at left wrist. Comments: French, bisque 1860, attributed to Barrois. Value Points: lovely pale blushed complexion beautifully contrasts the brilliant blue eyes, antique taffeta gown, undergarments, and carrying tiny leather necessaire with sewing accessories.
