18"(46 cm.) All hard plastic,socket head,five piece body,blue sleep eyes,blonde hair with original rolled curls still retaining their pins. Costume: wedding gown of tulle over white taffeta,having scooped neck,tulle pouf sleeves,panties,shoes,stockings,white cap with border trim of tiny florets that appear to simulate the lilies of the valley that decorate the cap. She is carrying a bouquet of flowers and a classic hat box. The costume is marked "Madame Alexander New York and she is presented in her original box stamped Wendy with fashion award symbol. Near mint condition,pristine coiffure,beautiful rosy complexion,crisp and fresh costume. Alexander,the Wendy Bride was presented in their 1954 catalog as model #1855.
