20" (51 cm.) All-composition doll with socket head,green sleep eyes,lashes,painted lower
lashes,lightly-feathered brows,open mouth with row of teeth,smiling expression with deeply
impressed cheek dimples,blonde mohair ringlet-curled wig,five piece body. Near mint,unplayed
with condition,some surface craquelure at left back thigh. Marks: Shirley Temple Ideal N&T Co
(head) Shirley Temple 20 (torso) (cloth tag on costume). The doll has her original pristine ringlet
curls with blue bows that match the trim on her crisp original pleated dress,the pink starburst
version of Curly Top costume,original one-piece undergarments,shoes and socks,and superb
complexion. Ideal,circa 1935.
