The first model ever issued of Barbie has blonde ponytail with original coiffure,beautifully-painted face with side-glancing eyes,thick dark eyeliner enhanced by a delicate line of blue,V-shaped brows,holes in feet with copper lining,gold dangle earrings,original swimsuit,shoes,booklet. The doll is presented in her original box,and is in excellent condition with some typical fading of skin tone visible under suit; the prong stand is not original. Mattel,1958/9. Extremely rare doll is enhanced by especially beautiful facial painting.
