16" (41 cm.) Having an over-sized composition head with bald pate,sculpted Hotpoint symbol atop his head,large ears and nose,large side-glancing eyes,and wide beaming smile,the doll has a chubby composition torso and wooden-segmented arms,hands,legs and feet,and is wearing a painted red devilish-like suit,black painted shoes,and slits in his hands for placement of promotional cards. The name Hotpoint is emblazoned across his chest,and he has an early Cameo paper label on underside of foot. The doll was designed by Joseph Kallus of Cameo,circa 1930,as a promotional model for Hotpoint. Excellent condition,face slightly dusty. Rare and delightful doll with amusing expression.
