9"(23 cm.) All-composition doll depicting a young child as a near duplicate of his
dad,Dagwood,having sculpted red hair,wide "O"shaped eyes,pointy nose,comma brows,stuck-out
ears and wide beaming smile,five piece body with painted socks and blue shoes,and wearing
original cotton and felt romper suit. Marks: Knickerbocker Toy (head and body). Excellent
condition,few rubs on finger tips and hair. Depicted is Blondie and Dagwood's young
son,Alex,from the popular comic strip series. A very rarely found comic strip character figure in
excellent state of preservation,with original costume,circa 1940.
