Carved wooden figure of fantastical female creature with uniquely designed crown of fur forming into a braid at the back of head and continuing into a carved white lock of hair that extends to its feet, muscular female body, white mask face with painted eyes, holding writhing snake-like figure in each hand. Excellent condition. Genoese, early 1700s, rare symbolic figure.
