11"(28 cm.) All-composition doll with socket head,sleep eyes,painted lashes,open mouth,row of
teeth,blonde mohair ringlet-curled wig,five piece composition body,Marks: 11 Shirley Temple
(head and body). The doll is wearing her original costume designed for the 1936 Texas
Centennial celebration comprising shirt,bandana,twill shorts,suede chaps with decorative
studs,patches and fringe,suede vest,and having early celluloid pin (lacking hat). Excellent
condition,wig original and slightly tousled. A rare doll in appealing rare size.
