25" (64 cm.) Composition socket head depicting a stylish flapper era-lady,having very elongated
throat to support her jauntily posed head with painted features,side-glancing brown eyes,dark
smoke eye shadow,outlined eyes,closed mouth with "O" shaped hole for cigarette
insertion,brunette mohair curly wig,all-composition body with shapely torso,very elongated
limbs with jointing at the shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,high-heel feet with painted shoes,re-
dressed in silk lounging pajamas in appropriate style. Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
possibly Mutual Novelty Co.,circa 1920s,the doll was used as promotional object by the Cubeb
Tobacco Co. to encourage woman to smoke. Wonderfully preserved,with original finish,great
posable body,the lady retains the original cigarette.
