8" (20 cm.) A lithographed tin figure of Mortimer Snerd wearing a red,white and blue marching
uniform has hinged arms,legs and head,and is pushing a large wheeled parade drum with an
illustration of his face on the drumhead. When wound,he rotates his head,marches along,and
beats the drum. Excellent condition of lithography and mechanism. Marks: "Mortimer Snerd's
Hometown Band" and "Louis Marx,New York,pat. pend". Marx,circa 1939.
