9"(23 cm.) All-composition doll with swivel head,sculpted classic Pinocchio features,sculpted
brown hair with forelock curl,"O"shaped downcast eyes,elongated nose,slightly stuck-out
ears,jointed shoulders and hips,arms and legs sculpted to appear as though wood-jointed at
elbows and knees in puppet style,painted yellow gloves and green shoes,and wearing his original
blue flannel suit with pink sleeves,bow tie,yellow flannel Tyrolean cap. Marks: Pinocchio W.
Disney Made in USA (head and torso). Very good condition,all original,having crazing over all the
hair. The doll has his original paper hang tag "Walt Disney's Pinocchio"with illustration of the
doll,and Knickerbocker Toy Co on the reverse side. Circa 1940,licensed by Disney as a
promotional doll for the animated film.
