8" (20 cm.) All-wooden carved lion with furry cloth mane over ball-jointed neck, glass eyes, open mouth with painted teeth, defined whiskers, jointed legs, leather ears, cord tail. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Schoenhut, circa 1905. Value Points: rare Style I with fine original painting that is well preserved.
