Description
10"(25 cm.) width. A tin upright piano with detailed lithographed designs of performing mice
dancers and musicians has four tin mice performers arranged all around,including Mouse seated
atop the piano with violin,and seated Mouse with drum. When wound,the performers beat the
drum,play the piano,dance and play the violin. Excellent condition of lithography and
mechanism. The model is considered the earliest and rarest of the Merrymakers series. The piano
is marked on the back with "Marx Merrymakers"and various patent design numbers. Marx,circa
1925.
