23" (58 cm.) Hard plastic head with sculpted reddish-brown hair in side-parted fashion,sleep eyes with lashes,liberally-sprinkled freckles over cheeks,nose,forehead and ears,hinged jaw that opens and closes by pull-string at back of his head,cloth body,rubber hands. Howdy is wearing a removable costume,comprising his classic checkered cotton shirt,red bandana labeled "Howdy Doody",red plastic belt,blue jeans,Howdy Doody cowboy boots,and an original celluloid Howdy pin. Excellent condition. Ideal,circa 1950s.
