9" (23 cm.) Posed on the roof of a tin shed whose sides depict colorful illustrations of Popeye characters in amusing scenes,are standing Popeye with loosely-hinged limbs,and Olive Oyl seated on a crate of spinach and holding an accordion. When wound,Popeye dances a jig,while Olive sways back and forth as though playing the accordion. Excellent condition of lithography and mechanism. Marks: Marx Made in USA. The toy is presented in its well-worn original well- illustrated box with directions for use. Circa 1930s.
