12"(30 cm.) A lithographed tin upright piano is decorated with sayings and scenes from
Dogpatch comic strip including a poster for Sadie Hawkins Day with the slogan "Ef a gal ketches
yo,then you're hern". Seated at the piano is Daisy Mae,L'il Abner stands alongside,Mammy Yocum
directs,and Pappy Yocum is the drummer. When wound,the four characters all perform nicely.
Excellent condition of lithography and mechanism. Unique Art,circa 1950s. Also included is a tin
wind-up toy of "B.O. Plenty"who is holding Baby Sparkle; when wound,he appears to walk by
leaning side-to-side and his hat bounces up and down. Excellent condition. Marx,1930s.
