8" (20 cm.) Barney. The pair of carved wooden highly-characterized figures based upon the
comic strip created by Billy de Beck in 1919,includes Barney Google with large painted
eyes,wooden top hat,jointed five-piece body and original costume,and his horse Spark Plug,with
black "O"-shaped google eyes and original yellow blanket. Condition: original painting
excellent,costume dusty,boxed game lid very worn and game incomplete,gameboard vibrant.

Schoenhut,circa 1922,under license,also included are "Barney Google and his Faithful Nag Spark
Plug" 1923 book by Cupples and Leon. and 1923 game by Milton Bradley with colorful box and
