Description

8" (20 cm.) All-celluloid toy depicts a white elephant with richly-decorated blankets,nodder-style head and hinged ears. Attached to the elephant's trunk is Henry,and attached to the elephant's back is his brown-complexioned friend as he appeared in the Henry comic strips. When wound,the elephant's head turns side to side,his ears flap,and Henry and friend appear to jump about. Probably Japan,C.K. distributed by Borgfeldt,1930s,featuring characters from the Carl Anderson comic strip. Excellent condition,bright vivid colors.
