18" (46 cm.) larger doll. The pair of dolls,wearing matching original costumes,include
Madelaine with auburn hair,large blue sleep eyes,closed mouth,socket head and fully-ball-
jointed body; along with 8" Alexander-kins,having bent-knee walking body,auburn hair in
side-parted style,and sleep eyes. The dolls are wearing original blue chambray play suits
comprising a square-neck tunic with red,white and blue striping on the double
pockets,matching narrow-leg pants with button closures at the ankles,snap shoes;
Madelaine's tunic bodice is lined with red and white striped cotton,and Alexander-kins has an
attached red and white knit top with her pants. Excellent condition,well-preserved original
costumes and coiffure. Alexander,the set was presented as a Neiman-Marcus special in
1954,and the Neiman-Marcus box is included for Wendykins. The dolls have rare matching
hair color.
