Description
14" (36 cm.) All-hard plastic with socket head,brown sleep eyes,lashes,painted lower lashes and
brows,closed mouth,curly fleeced wig,five-piece body. The doll is wearing her original white
rayon sailor suit with red embroidery "Mary Martin",socks,shoes and sailor cap. The costume is
tagged "Mary Martin of South Pacific,Madame Alexander,New York". The doll was presented in
1949 and 1950 to coincide with the beloved Broadway play in which Mary Martin starred.
