15" (38 cm.) All-hard plastic child doll with socket head,five-piece jointed body,blue sleep
eyes,lashes,closed mouth with richly shaded lips,blonde hair in original coiffure with bangs and
upswept pageboy curls captured by original red ribbon. She is wearing her original blue knit
sweater embroidered "Annabelle" over a red pique sateen dress with Peter Pan collar and white
rick-rack trim,undergarments,shoes and socks. Marks: Kate Smith's Annabelle,Madame
Alexander. Excellent condition,original coiffure and vibrant costume freshness well-preserved.
Alexander,the model was issued in 1952,and made for one year only; it was inspired by the
stories of Annabelle written by the beloved television performer Kate Smith.
