Description
20" (51 cm.) All-hard plastic,socket head,blue sleep eyes,lashes,dark eye shadow,open
mouth,four teeth,brunette wig with rolled bangs and waist-length braids,five piece walking style
body that causes head to turn side-to-side. The doll is wearing her original purple/mauve/cream
checkered taffeta dress with red belt and hair bows,muslin undergarments,socks,black shoes.
Excellent near mint condition,unplayed with. She has her original paper hang tag "Heddi Stroller"
by the Belle Doll and Toy Corp of New York. The doll evidently attempted to capture the market
for both walking and hair-curling dolls,as its booklet describes the doll as "head turning,walking
doll built for beauty as well as abuse; it has a beautiful ïSaran WigÍ which can be combed,curled
and set". Circa 1950,rare model in pristine condition with identifying hang tag.
