16"(41 cm.) Each is all-cloth with mask-pressed and painted facial features to emphasize the
amusing character expressions of the impish children who appear to be glancing upward in
"who,me?"expression,each with modeled stuck-out ears,side-glancing blue or brown
eyes,sculpted brows,the girl with painted upper lashes,brunette mohair braids and cherubic
smile,the boy with no lashes,blonde fleecy hair and variation in mouth lines,each wearing colorful
original felt costume with patches and details,black shoes. Each has its original tag "Trixy
Toy,The Heart of Best Quality",the boy's tag stamped "Mugsy,Pat. Pending"and the girl's tag
stamped "Marcie,Pat. Pending". Excellent condition,vibrant colors of costumes well-preserved on
the rare and absolutely delightful pair. Circa 1930s.
