15"(38 cm.) All-composition with socket head,blue sleep eyes,lashes,painted lashes and
brows,open mouth,row of teeth,blonde mohair wig in ringlet curls,five piece composition body.
Marks: Reliable made in Canada. The doll is wearing her original crisp flowered cotton dress with
black lacing at the bodice,matching bonnet,undergarments,shoes and socks,and has her original
paper label "Golden Locks,A Reliable Doll". Circa 1938,the doll was made to appeal to the Shirley
Temple market having classic ringlet-curled hair and dainty child costume. Rare model in
pristine condition with original paper label.
