Description
Six dolls,from 4"-6",comprise a wedding party. The Groom and the Flower girl are of plastic with
sleeping eyes,and the remainder are of painted bisque with jointed arms and legs and painted
facial features. Each has soft mohair wig except the Groom with flocked hair,and each has
painted flat black shoes except the two children with painted white ankle shoes. Each is wearing
its original costume representing Bride,Groom,Two Bridesmaids,Flower Girl and Ring Bearer,and
each is preserved in its original box. Near mint condition,only the flower girl has wrist tag. Four
of the six boxes bear the original store label from "House of Dolls,Santa
Claus,Indiana",indicating they were acquired new as a set despite the variance in material. Circa
1950.
