2 1/2"-4". Each is a two-piece all-bisque doll,its head loosely attached to body in so-called
"nodding" fashion,each with highly characterized features to represent various figures from
popular early 20th century comic strips,and each with sculpted and painted costumes to match.
Condition: generally excellent,few very minor flakes. Marks: Germany (and name of
character,some with name of artist). Comments: Germany,circa 1920,included are Fanny
Nebb,Uncle Willie,Aunt Mamie,Mr. Bibb,Bill,Avery,Rachel,Kayo,Mr,Wicker,Auntie Blossom,Mr.
Bailey The Boss,Doc,Little Egypt,Moon Mullins,Andy Gump,Lord Plushbottom,Uncle Bim,Max,Rudy
