21" (53 cm.) Carved wooden socket head with slender facial modeling and strong features,carved shaded brown hair,defined ears,prominent nose,defined eye sockets with brown shaded eyes,closed mouth,strong upper lip,blushed eyelids,ears,cheeks and chin,elongated throat,all- wooden body with dowel-jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips,knees and ankles,ball-swivel wrists and waist,defines toes and fingers. Condition: generally excellent,thumb and one finger broken off on left hand. Comments: (see #58). Value Points: unique expressive features are enhanced by artistic painting,the fully-articulated body allows for infinite posing in this historically significant doll in rare larger size.
