17" (43 cm.) x 14" image. 26" x 23" framed. A beautifully detailed engraving depicts a merry
family scene of the mid-19th century,the father lifting laughing boy in dance-like play,and a
little girl leaning at her mother̴s side,while the mother shows a prized doll. Excellent
condition,one tear under glass. Double matted and framed,the engraving has varnish highlights
lending an illusion of painting. Engraving circa 1860.
