Solid-domed bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate with slightly- modeled bosom,tiny blue glass eyes,painted lashes and brows,closed mouth with center accent line on primly-set lips,unpierced ears,blonde mohair wig in long braids with antique bonnet,twill-over-wooden body with shapely torso,jointed shoulders,bisque arms from below the elbows,dowel-jointing at hips and knees,bisque lower legs,bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Simon and Halbig,circa 1880. Value Points: rare early model with original body,bisque lower limbs,wonderful facial expression and fine quality of bisque.
