Bisque socket head,brown glass sleep eyes,painted lower lashes,mohair lashes,lightly feathered brows,accented nostrils,open mouth,outlined lips,four porcelain teeth,pierced ears,original brunette human hair hand-tied wig,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Dep 6. (head) Au Nain Bleu Paris (paper label on body) Au Nain Bleu Paris (cloth label on skirt). Comments: the bebe was commissioned from Jumeau/SFBJ,circa 1900,by the prestigious Parisian doll shop,Au Nain Bleu,and presented in its elaborate couturier costume created in their own ateliers. The costume includes matching undergarments,heavy woolen stockings,and patterned cotton skirt,petticoat,blouse,vests,apron with lace hankie and bonnet,each sewn with couturier details. Value Points: pristine condition of the beautiful doll,with original wig and multi- layered original labeled costume.
