2.5" (6 cm.) x 4" painting. 7" x 9" frame. A delicately rendered painting depicts a young
fashionably dressed girl seated in a Moorish-themed shop,her younger sister seated on her lap;
the young girl appears to be reaching for a curtain held by the shop-keeper which is hiding the
secret behind it. French,Luigi Loir,circa 1888,superb example of the artist̴s ability to render
wonderful romantic imagery into everyday Parisian scenes of his era. Excellent condition.
