Description
14" (36 cm.) x 10". A wooden-framed case with paper covers and silver-plate handle and
clasps,is designed to open at either side,to reveal an elaborately fitted interior. Posed in the
center is a toy cast-iron sewing machine with original stenciled designs,and surrounding this are
a number of sewing supplies and tools. The case is labeled "La Petite Couturiere" on both sides.
Excellent condition. French,circa 1900.
