22" (56 cm.) Pale bisque shoulder head with oval-shaped face and elongated throat depicting
adult lady,blonde sculpted hair arranged in scalloped waves at the forehead and then looped
backward to eight large horizontal rolled curls at the back,sculpted pierced ears,painted
features,well-defined eye sockets with large cobalt blue painted eyes,red and black upper
eyeliner,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented
lips,original muslin stitch-jointed body with sewn-on stockings and leather boots,bisque
forearms,antique gown. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: attributed to Conta and
Bohme,circa 1875. Value Points: the elegant lady has a rare painted blue necklace with center
applied medallion,painted ribbons at her back shoulders,and a gilt-edged blue hair band.
