Description
19" (48 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with lightly tinted complexion,oval-shaped
face,elongated throat,slightly-modeled bosom,brown sculpted and painted hair in V-shaped
center parts,the hair drawn smoothly around the sides of her face and looped over her ears,to
be drawn back into an elaborately braided and looped chignon at the back of her head; having
painted blue upper glancing eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,black single-stroke
brows,circle accents at nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,muslin body,porcelain
lower limbs,painted flat shoes,antique costume and locket. Condition: large chip at bottom
edge of shoulder plate,otherwise excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1850. Value Points:
beautiful lady with regal presence,fine luminous porcelain complexion with enhancing soft
blush,rare brown hair in elaborate coiffure.
