18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head with slender face, blue glass sleep eyes, painted lower lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair up-swept wig, plaster pate, composition body with adult female shape of torso, elongated limbs. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: D made in Germany 8 162 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Kestner, circa 1900, their composition bodied Gibson Girl. Value Points: very fine unplayed with condition, with original body and body finish, original wig, pate and original teal blue silk Edwardian gown with Belgian lace accents, undergarments, leather shoes.
