25" (64 cm.) Composition socket head with deeply-impressed character features,very full cheeks
tapering to narrow elongated throat,defined eye sockets with sculpted eyelids,brown painted
eyes,one-stroke tapered brows,rounded nose tip,accented nostrils,closed mouth with full
lips,sculpted ears,brunette mohair braids,composition and wooden ball-jointed body,wearing
antique country costume,undergarments,striped stockings,shoes,bonnet. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: attributed to Marion Kaulitz Munich Art Dolls series,circa 1909. Value
Points: outstanding sculpting with fine original artistic painting of features,rarely found model
especially in this 25" size. Ex-collection Puppen and Spielzeug Museum of Vienna,Austria.
