2.5" (6 cm.) x 4" painting. 7" x 9" framed. A finely rendered painting depicting a young girl in
fashionable clothing seated at a parlor table,a mantel clock with two ornamental figures resting
on the table; she holds the winding key in her hand and appears about to wind the clock. The
painting is signed L.L. French,Luigi Loir,circa 1888,from a series of miniature paintings of Paris
life created by the artist. Excellent condition.
