14" (36 cm.) All-cloth doll with early three-seam head which is firmly-stuffed and with oil-painted features and brown hair with forelock curls, painted brown eyes with shaded detail, black and brown upper eyeliner, white eye dots, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast lips, stitch-jointed shoulders, disc-jointed legs with wide hips, separately-stitched thumbs, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, some light spotting on body. Marks: Kathe Kruse (signature stamp on left foot). Comments: Kathe Kruse, the Type VII model known as "Kleines Du Mein", the petite doll was made from 1927-1930. Value Points: most endearing expression on the rare Kruse model with especially fine modeling of facial features.
