20" (51 cm.) Bisque shoulder head turned slightly to the right and nestled into plump bodice,blonde sculpted hair in center-parted style with three ringlet curls at each side of forehead and a wide braid at the crown with cascading curls below at the back,fully sculpted pierced ears,blue glass inset eyes,painted lashes and brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,old muslin stitch-jointed body with sewn-on shoes,leather arms,frail antique costume. Condition: generally excellent,leather shoes very worn. Comments: Attributed to C.F. Kling,Germany,circa 1880. Value Points: very beautiful face with gentle expression,glass eyes,elaborately sculpted hair.
